What this tool is for
JSON arrays of similarly shaped objects convert naturally into CSV rows. If records have different properties, the table needs a common set of columns; nested arrays and objects need a deliberate flattening strategy.
How to use it
- Import a JSON array or supported object structure.
- Review which keys become CSV columns, especially when some records omit values.
- Export and inspect fields with commas, embedded quotes and line breaks.
Example workflow
A list of contacts with name, department and extension keys makes a straightforward CSV. A record containing several phone numbers as an array needs manual review.
Important limitations
- Nested data cannot always be represented cleanly in flat CSV columns.
- Missing keys and explicit null values may both appear as empty fields after export.
