What this tool is for
PDFs preserve fixed-position pages, which makes them useful for reviewing and annotating documents. SuiteOfficeLab's PDF workspace supports viewing, markup and exported copies; editing a visible annotation is different from changing the original underlying text in a PDF.
How to use it
- Open a PDF and use page navigation and zoom to inspect the content.
- Place supported text, notes, shapes, highlights or a signature on the chosen page.
- Export a copy, reopen it, and verify that annotations landed on the intended page at the intended scale.
Example workflow
When marking up a contract draft, use a visible note to flag a clause rather than assuming an overlay permanently removes the text beneath it.
Important limitations
- A dark rectangle over text is not secure redaction. Sensitive information can remain in underlying PDF data.
- Browser-rendered previews can differ from printed size; verify after export.
