What this tool is for
Converting a DOCX is useful when a recipient needs a fixed PDF, a lightweight HTML preview, or plain text for reuse. Each format makes a different compromise between visual fidelity and editability.
How to use it
- Import the DOCX and inspect the displayed sections, headings and tables.
- Choose PDF for sharing a fixed view, HTML for a browser-readable structure, or TXT for unformatted text.
- Open the converted file and compare the first, middle and last pages against the original.
Example workflow
A short policy memo with ordinary headings and paragraphs usually converts more predictably than a brochure with floating text boxes and custom page breaks.
Important limitations
- Plain text exports intentionally discard font styles, tables and images.
- Browser PDF output can use different pagination and font metrics than Microsoft Word.
