What this tool is for
PDF conversion depends on what a page actually contains. A scanned page may be an image, while an exported report may contain selectable text. These two inputs behave differently when extracting text, building a DOCX, or exporting page images.
How to use it
- Import the PDF and check that all pages render.
- Choose the output that matches your goal: text for extraction, images for appearance, or a document format for further editing.
- Compare a few representative pages, especially tables and graphics, before distributing the converted file.
Example workflow
To reuse one chart from a report, exporting its page as JPG may be more reliable than attempting to reconstruct the entire report as an editable Word document.
Important limitations
- Scanned PDFs generally require OCR for usable text; this converter does not promise OCR accuracy.
- Editable output may lose columns, text positions, interactive forms and precise fonts.
